Assistant Principal's Message
Konnie Lee
Hello Falcon Family!
My name is Konnie Lee. I am deeply honored to serve as an Interventionist and Assistant Principal at Forest Hills Elementary School. I began working in the Florence City School System in 2005. During my teaching career, I have taught third grade and served as the TOPS Program teacher. Prior to pursuing a career as an educator, I worked as a Registered Nurse for thirteen years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Elementary Education, an Education Specialist degree, and an add-on certification in Instructional Leadership, all from the University of North Alabama.
In a fast-paced world filled with uncertainty and continual change, the value of a first-class, high quality education is perhaps more important now than ever before. As an Instructional Leader at Forest Hills Elementary, I am committed to partnering with faculty, staff, and parents to empower students to be their best, and to foster a love for learning that will provide a strong foundation for a bright future. Thank you parents for entrusting your most precious asset to us.
I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of Forest Hills Elementary School.

Greetings Falcon Families!
My name is Shelia Holt. It is an honor and privilege to serve as an Assistant Principal at Forest Hills Elementary. I have been an educator since 1997 and have been a member of the Falcon Family since 2007. I am a UNA graduate with Bachelor’s, Master’s, Education Specialist and Instructional Leader in Administration degrees. I have taught multiple grade levels throughout my career, including a K-5 STEM lab. With a background in elementary education and a deep passion for student success, I am committed to supporting a learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. One of my top priorities is building strong relationships with families, staff, and community members. I believe that true success in education is built through meaningful partnerships between home and school. By working together, we can ensure that each student not only excels academically but also develops the character and confidence needed for lifelong success. Above all, student safety is at the heart of everything we do. Creating a secure and nurturing environment allows children to thrive, explore, and grow. Please know that I am always here to listen, support, and collaborate with you to make you and your student’s time at Forest Hills a positive and rewarding experience.
